interference

His affectation was charm,
and it fit him like rings on frost-bitten fingers–

suited him

as precisely and neatly

as a jailer suits an in-mate;

at least in there

offenses all amount to the same:

a criminal is a criminal.

Here we have degrees.

He uses static the way static is applied

(for trickery

 in clean air),

to make the wave-lengths muddied.

Static is used to provide interference

the way a commercial

breaks up the event,

to give you little distractions.

To employ devices and techniques

is distortion.

It is dysmorphic.

He is a dysmorphic person.
